Wendy Kennedy is an

internationally recognized authority on
technology commercialization. She works
globally with organizations to advance
their innovation, commercialization and
entrepreneurship initiatives. Since its
introduction in 2005, her methodology for
discovering the commercial potential of
new ideas, So what? who cares? why
you?®, has been used by more than 20,000
innovators in 17 countries. In addition, it has
been adopted as a platform for innovation at
leading organizations including: the European
Space Agency, Purdue Research Park, and the
USA Federal Laboratory Consortium.

Prior to founding WKI, Wendy held executive
management positions in six technology
startups. She was also a teaching professor
at Algonquin College, where she received
the distinguished Laurent Isabelle Award for
innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.

She lives in Ottawa, Canada with her family.
