Women's Business Center Chooses WKI We're thrilled to announce that the So what? who cares? why you? methodology will now support the development of women entrepreneurs throughout the state of Indiana. The Women's Economic Opportunity Center (WEOC) for Indiana, an initiative of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, will use the So what? who cares? why you? online toolkit, supported by the WKI Certified Coach program to develop women entrepreneurs looking to commercialize their early-stage ideas. Wendy to Host FLC Fall Webinar Series

This fall, Wendy will host a series of Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) webinars aimed at selling lab technologies to partners and promoting T2 programs internally without a marketing budget.

The Confidence to Commercialize

I'm often asked what I think the winning ingredient is to commercialize a new idea - is it having a novel technology? Riding a rising market wave? Capturing an established ecosystem? While these things certainly can contribute to success, throughout my career I've noted a key ingredient that is the mortar for all of these, and that is: the confidence to commercialize.
